Privacy Policy

PawBaseline is a preventive pet wellness app operated by the PawBaseline team. Contact: support@pawbaseline.com.

Account information you provide:

• Email address and password (passwords are stored hashed by our authentication provider, never in plain text).
• Your name, if you choose to add it.
• Optional profile details such as timezone and notification preferences.

Pet information you enter:

• Pet name, species, breed, birthday, weight, and photos you upload.
• Daily check-ins: appetite, water, activity, mood, litter/bathroom notes, and free-text observations.
• Health records you choose to add: medications, vaccinations, parasite prevention, vet contacts, and appointment notes.

Technical information collected automatically:

• Basic product analytics events (pages viewed, features used) used to improve the app.
• Error reports when something breaks.
• Device/browser information sent with normal web requests.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Card numbers are entered directly into Stripe's hosted checkout and are never stored on PawBaseline servers. We keep only the subscription status, plan, and billing period returned by Stripe.

• To build and display your pet's baseline, trends, and reports.
• To send the reminders and notifications you enable.
• To send account and service emails (sign-in links, onboarding reminders, billing notices).
• To operate, debug, and improve the product.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your pet's health records with advertisers.

Some optional features send the content of your check-ins or questions to third-party AI model providers to generate a response. Those requests are used to produce your result and are not used by PawBaseline to build advertising profiles. If you prefer not to use AI features, simply don't use the assistant or scan tools.

We share data only with service providers that run the product on our behalf:

• Our hosting, database, and authentication provider (application data and account records).
• Stripe (payments and subscription state).
• Our transactional email provider (delivery of account and reminder emails).
• AI model providers, only for content you submit to AI features.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety of a person or animal.

If you invite a partner, sitter, or walker to a pet, they can see the pet records you shared with them. You can revoke access at any time from the pet's caregiver settings.

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can delete individual pets and records in the app at any time. To delete your entire account and all associated pet data, use the delete option in Settings or email support@pawbaseline.com. Deletion requests are actioned within 30 days. Limited billing records may be retained where required for accounting purposes.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Email us and we will help.

PawBaseline is not intended for use by anyone under 16.

If we make material changes to this policy we will update the date above and notify account holders by email.
